Healthy Eating Active Living: 2024 Impact Highlights
Our H.E.A.L. Committee worked with partners across Spartanburg to expand access to healthy food and promote active lifestyles.

We successfully merged with Wholespire, and now have 16 engaged partners across the coalition.
Freshstops
More than 7,900 pounds of produce were distributed to recreation centers through Freshstops. Photo: Fox Carolina
Food Hub
More than 38,500 pounds of fresh, healthy food were purchased through the PAL Food Hub—an initiative that makes locally grown produce available to Spartanburg residents.
Education
Cooking Up Confidence welcomed 220 participants and positively impacted 549 people.
Access
100 families will now be able to receive fresh produce thanks to the donation of cold storage to the Salvation Army of Spartanburg.
